Have you always wanted to drive offroad in a fun group, where team spirit is paramount? Then I now offer a great allroad trip in Italy! Join me on an adventure in the 2 great countries Italy and France! Bring your tent and go! We are going to do the most beautiful thing there is, WILD CAMPING, and visit 2 hotels!
We will drive around the beautiful area around the Italy/France border region
This trip is all about adventure! Views with elle long vistas that make you realize that you are very small! We reach a height of 3009 meters where a stunning view and feeling takes over for a while! The paths that are very challenging in some parts, but that makes it fun! You take very little with you, some repair stuff to fix a possible flat tire or something like that.
We're going to end up in
Colle delle Finestre and Assietta Kamstrasse, via Colle di Sampeyre. Ligurische Grenzkammstraße , Limone Piemonte ,Route Grand Alps, Colle di Tenda ,Via Col du Parpaillon, col du la bonnete, Sauze d'Oulx, Monte Jafferau, Col de Sommellier, Via Del Sale, Maira-Stura-Kammstraße
Saturday day 1 30km I will receive you at the foot of Col du Parpaillon ! This will be around 16:00! Make sure you have done your shopping for dinner and breakfast, or make sure you have already eaten a hearty meal! At the bottom we will do a briefing after which we will drive up together, so that we are immediately in the offroad atmosphere! and end up at a very beautiful wild camping spot. Tell the home front that you will not have any reception here!
Sunday day 2 190km the morning starts after a good night's sleep and breakfast. On the program today is Col du La Bonette and an offroad section where we descend considerably from 2800m altitude! Arrived in one of the small villages we have an afternoon lunch, to continue the road over one of the most beautiful parts of Route des Grandes Alpes, to go paved to the last part offroad to end up at our wild camping spot!
Monday day 3 130km we drive away from 1600m altitude where we slept, near Tende in France! You are immediately awake because we are on our offroad route! Today Via Del Sale an old military road is on the program and we cross the border to Italy this road is also called Ligurian Grenzkammstraße ! After this nice but sometimes tough ride we go to sleep high in the mountains 2000m on a fort!!! But before we get there we go out for a nice meal in Liemone Piemonte, and replenish our groceries for the next day!
Tuesday day 4 130km on the program is as a start driving down, where we then follow the provincial road for a while. soon we come across the first small mountain that we have to cross, to arrive at the village of Demonte. Here we go to the foot of Maira-Stura-Kammstraße, but first we go to eat in the mountains at a Rifugio of course! Then the old military road starts, eye stunning and breath taking! then it goes to the hotel which is in the middle of the mountains 2000m altitude! We drive our last col here, colle di Sampeyre! In the luxury hotel a delicious beer is already waiting for us ! Luxury rooms in the real style that you expect in this area! and as a highlight this day? The food, a real pleasure for your mouth, there you are fresh from the shower at a delicious luxury dinner!
Wednesday day 5 200km , we start with a delicious breakfast and with a full stomach we get on the bike! we leave the luxury behind us to brave the rawness of nature again! we are already at 2000m! Coll Del Prete is our first offroad section, after which we drive via a connecting piece to Colle della Vaccera . Colle delle Finestre then connects not long after! Because we have done shopping we are going wild camping! We do this in the lower forests that are of course still high in the mountains!
Thursday day 6 120km We make a nice loop where we include France again, very briefly! We stay in the beautiful surroundings and drive through the Susatal in the evening we go for pizza, and then we go wild camping at 2021m altitude!
Friday day 7 We sleep in for a long time! We go to drink our cup of coffee in a mountain hut where they also have something nice to eat! There we go steeply down, to go to our highest point... 3009 meters high, right we go to Colle Sommeiller!When we get back to the valley we first eat again, and then we go to our wild camping spot on top of a Fort 2348m high! Beware this is a challenging part to get to!
Saturday day 8 120km we wake up and today we face the task of reaching Forte Jafferau ! we end up at 2800m altitude and here we decide to drive down via the ski slope, who wants to can also drive up with me! Whoever feels like it can drive an extra loop before we end up in the hotel, here is our last evening and we enjoy our beautiful journey while enjoying a nice drink and food!
Day 9 1000km? You’re going home feeling great!
