Allroad trip Northern Spain! 

Have you always wanted to bridge the winter period and still enjoy riding? Then I now offer a great allroad trip in Spain! Join me on an adventure in the great Northern Spain.

As Mike on the Bike I offer a package of 7 nights and 6 days of riding. Enjoy offroad riding combined with the beautiful asphalt roads around the Costa Brava area! You arrive on Monday and leave home on Monday.

Hotel stay

The stay is in a 4 star hotel by Dutch standards! There are options to use a massage, sauna, whirlpool and gym. Possibly if the pool is open( depends on the time of year) you can swim! The hotel is 200 meters from the beach so the sea is also within easy reach. There is a gas station a stone's throw away. The motorcycles are all parked in a locked garage under the hotel, which is accessible with your hotel card. Your dirty clothes can be washed for a fee and returned clean after 24 hours. In the evening, of course, we are all together at the bar!

Accommodation is on the basis of 2 persons per room. If you want a single room, the surcharge is € 22.50 per night.

This package is booked with your own motorcycle, transportation of the motorcycle and airfare are not included in the price. Of course I can help you with this if needed

The routes

The routes are structured in severity. Day 1 is used to get into the swing of things so you can enjoy the coming days optimally. And of course that's also the case this day. Enjoyment comes first every day, but of course we also look for challenges, as you can expect from Mike-on-the-Bike. Your self-confidence will grow every day with all the miles we make in the beautiful Spanish countryside. I have compiled the routes myself and tested them intensively so that I know what's coming and can adjust the day to the level of the group if necessary.

Day 1: 

The first day is a day where after some starting kilometers on asphalt we will enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Costa Brava. With a few kilometers in the arms and legs the gravel riding will start. Along the most beautiful coastline of Spain we will ride into the hilly area towards the mountains with the sea in our mirrors. In the course of the day, the terrain to ride will become more and more challenging. Since we are traveling with heavy bikes, I have made sure that the terrain is suitable for our Adventure bikes to take on the challenge! The tracks we ride have been personally put together by me and are challenging!

Day 2: 

Day 2 is a challenging day consisting mainly of off-road roads with gravel and loose rock, along steep slopes and deep valleys. You will encounter beautiful wide singletracks that are incorporated into the route. These tracks have the necessary height difference: we go up and of course down again. The surface is mostly stone with sand. This day is a lot more intense than day 1, but you'll be ready for it! 

Day 3: 

Day three is a ride with views that are different almost every hour. There is a lot of variation between asphalt roads that seem to have been drawn by an architect and, of course, the necessary off-road kilometers. We cross - of course completely legally - a natural park up to an altitude of 1200 meters with beautiful views of the Pyrenees with white snow peaks! When we descend again it seems like driving through the bush, that's how green everything is!

Day 4: 

On the last day everything comes together from the past days and you will enjoy extra all the beauty Spain has already shown you. Your confidence with your bike has grown tremendously over the past few days and this will be noticeable in the tricky steep sections we will encounter today! A worthy final day of 4 days of enjoyment in Northern Spain with Mike-on-the-Bike.
